Waiting on Wednesday (#8) What You Left Behind

'Waiting on' Wednesday is a weekly feature/meme created by Breaking the Spine. This is basically  for the books that we've been anticipating.

What You Left Behind
by Jessica Verdi
Publisher: Sourcebooks
Expected publication date: August 4th 2015
ISBN: 1492614408 (ISBN13: 9781492614401)
Synopsis (from Goodreads)
It’s all Ryden’s fault. If he hadn’t gotten Meg pregnant, she would have never stopped her chemo treatments and would still be alive. Instead, he’s failing fatherhood one dirty diaper at a time. And it’s not like he’s had time to grieve while struggling to care for their infant daughter, start his senior year, and earn the soccer scholarship he needs to go to college.

The one person who makes Ryden feel like his old self is Joni. She’s fun and energetic—and doesn’t know he has a baby. But the more time they spend together, the harder it becomes to keep his two worlds separate. Finding one of Meg’s journals only stirs up old emotions, and Ryden’s convinced Meg left other notebooks for him to find, some message to help his new life make sense. But how is he going to have a future if he can’t let go of the past?

This is one of my most anticipated releases of 2015. I mean, just look at that (the synopsis, I mean). Isn't it interesting? It sounds like realistic fiction tinge with romance. Also, I couldn't passed up the opportunity to read a YA/NA contemporary, because you know me and my contemporaries (romance, most likely). I have a feeling that this book will make my unemotional self cry like a walrus.

I already have a copy of this but that didn't stop me from posting this book because I'm really excited for this! Plus, I'm part of the official blog tour so that may have added to my excitement.

What about you? What are you currently waiting on? Link up your posts (if you have any, that is) below and I'll be sure to check out those.
