A first kiss is hard to forget—and Kelsey Brian’s just walked into the bar where she works and isn’t planning to leave anytime soon. It figures. With her last semester of college finally here, Kelsey can’t wait to finish the year smoothly and start a new chapter. She doesn’t need to drive over yet another bump in the road.

Ethan Connelly has spent most of his adult life trying to be accepted by his father, and now he has the chance to make him proud. He’s also just stepped into another chance with the girl who got away. Deciding who matters most to him isn’t an easy choice. If he picks his father, he’ll lose her again—if he picks her, everything he’s worked for will be for nothing.

Can Kelsey learn to trust him, or will Ethan’s secret of why he’s really back in town tear them apart?

★★★☆☆

The premise of this book drew me in. Like, really, really drew me in. At first glance I wanted to give this book a pass but then I read the synopsis and I can't wait to get my hands on this book. Books about second chances are my holy grail so you can imagine how much I wanted to read this book. As I was reading, I was waiting for something. Something that leaves me in awe. I mean, the story was great and all but I was looking for that extra something that sets this book apart from other books, I didn't found it.

This book was funny as hell, it is full of humor. I mean, the first few encounter of our main characters was really hilarious - embarrassing on Kelsey's part and excruciatingly painful on Ethan's part. The characters (main and supporting) were entertaining to read, they are all comical and humorous and that make me smile all through out the book. Kelsey and Ethan are a dynamic couple. Together they are a force to be reckoned with. They're just so sweet. But when the first trouble came their way, they didn't handle it well. I guess, they're not the perfect couple but they really are one hell of a couple.

Overall, it was an enjoyable read to me; but, alas, I didn't find that oomph-ness that I was looking for. This book came out kind of flat, to me, to be honest.
Did I like the ending? Yep. Especially that tidbit about the next book? I'm so excited for Logan & Sara's story. (It's really ironic that I'm much more excited for the next story than this on, really.)
Is it a page turner? Yes, every humorous and witty books all are.
Would I re-read again? I guess. I'll most likely skim to my favorite parts, though.
