★★★
“We all must wake up from dreams”
― E.J. Mellow, The Divide

I remember loving the first book of this series, so much. It startled me how much I liked it because, let's face it, there are a lot of books that may be similar to this but this series, it has that oomph factor that I'm always looking for.

I first read this book, last year on June and I got to admit, I forgot a lot of key things about this book. It is, to say, annoying that I forgot that quickly. But as quickly as I forgot some of the things about this book, it was also as quick as I re-dream. It was more enjoyable to read this one because we got to see and learn more of this "Dreamland," our main character always go to. (I couldn't really give my blurb about this book because I'll surely spoil it.)

Like the first book, this book also has a lot of fun characters (the main characters aside are, of course, included). I have learned a lot of things about the characters and the setting of this book. I got to read some additional characters as well as some kick-ass actions.

Overall, it was an amazing read and a great follow-up. It's great to read about the character's relationship being tied up together, in different ways. I'd love to read the next book (the last? not sure!) in this series, as always.
Did I like the ending? The ending was a torture! Not really, but it was a cliffhanger and dammit, I want more!
Is it a page turner? Yes. I couldn't even put it down.
Would I re-read it again? Of course.

About the author:
I'm the author behind the NA Contemporary Fantasy trilogy The Dreamland Series. When I'm not busy moonlighting in the realm of make-believe, I can be found doodling, buried in a book (usually this one), or playing video games.

  1. Great review! This sounds like a great series and I'm glad that the sequel was so good, too! I often find a series can drag a bit in its sequel, sounds like this one is well written! Glad you liked it! :)
