I love holiday-themed books, especially the Christmas ones. And this book is no exception. The premise of the book was especially great. This book revolves around Katie, Micah and his family, and their Christmas all together. What's worst than having to say "no" to a wedding proposal? Being stuck with him and his family. Talk about awkward.

Katie came from a far-from-perfect family (and definitely far different from Micah's loving family) and she was convinced that this runs in her family, that's why she can't marry Micah; she can't ruin his life. Even when Katie turned down Micah's proposal, the Binder family treated her no differently. With just Christmas around the corner, Katie and the Binder family might just find the true meaning of the occasion.

I didn't had a problem getting on the story, at first. It was easy to delve into this book; it was greatly constructed and beautifully built. But where lies my problem? The book revolves around Katie and Micah's family. Micah's family is pretty big and with that big of a family, there's bound to have a lot of happenings. And there are a lot. There are a lot going on that I had a hard time following the story. It has multiple point of views and there's no warning when will the point of view shift (or maybe it's just the ARC I received).

As I've said, there are a lot of characters in this book. I don't normally love big set of characters but the Binder family ― Micah included, of course― isn't hard to like. This family lives every day like it's their last day because you never really know, right? Together with Katie, I found out that each and every member of the Binder family is self-less, generous and loving. There are no bone I can pick from them, really.

Overall, I enjoyed reading this book. I'm glad I picked it up because there are a lot of things I have learnt from this. It was amazing how a book, as simple as it is, can be really heartwarming. I highly recommend this to lovers of holiday-themed books!

Did I like the ending? Yes, though I believe that it's a bit rushed, I still liked it.

Is it a page turner? Yesssssssssssssssssssssssss.

Would I re-read it again? An endless yes *wink*.  If I can read this every Christmas, I would.
