Top 10 (#12) Creepy-ass Covers

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. For more details of this feature you can check out this post.

I have not necessarily read all of the books included in this list. I have saw most of the covers and decided to not read it because I'm pretty certain that this covers would haunt me in my dreams nightmares. Jesus.
Every book cover has different shade of creepiness but the book covers that scares me, or should I say creep me, the most were Patrick White's The Vivisector, Chuck Hogan's The Strain and Stephen King's (all hail the master of horror) It.

What do you think of those covers?

  1. Strain and the Vivisector wins the cake I guess! What's with those eyes???? They're creepy as hell! And even the mention of It gives me the chills! That movie scared me for life!

    1. 'It' definitely trumps every other book in this list because most of us are scarred for life because of this book (or movie).
Thank you for stopping by! Have a great day.

    1. As twisted as it may seems, the cover was probably why I picked up the book. Haha. It's not that creepy compare to the other books I've mentioned but it definitely has that 'spooky air' in it. You get what I mean?
Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

  5. I haven't read any of the books you've listed in your post this week. Quite a few of them sound really good, so I'll have to add them to me ever growing reading wishlist.

  6. I'm not sure how, but IT manages to top even The Strain and The Vivisector covers for me. Maybe it's a childhood thing. Yikes!

The cover for Please Remain Calm is making me want to check it out, though. :)

    1. I know, right? 'It' really creeps me out. I don't even want to look at it. That was probably the reason why I'm kinda (super kinda) spooked out when I saw a clown. Also, Please Remain Calm sounds really interesting and promising, you should check it out, soon.
Thank you and have a great day!

  7. Oh yes! Those are all very creepy. The Strain and Patrick's White book freak me out the most, I think. And the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies cover.

    1. To be honest, it was really painful, for me, to look at it multiple times when I was doing this list. It really creeps me out. Also,if those covers aren't creepy enough, you should check out Infected by Scott Sigler. I find that book cover creepier. Haha.
Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

  9. Those covers with eyeballs on them *shudders* At least the doll on Stephen King's "It" isn't smiling... It's gonna make it a lot more scarier!

    1. Agree! There's something about the 'It''s (or clown) face that gave me shivers. Real talk.
Anyway, thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
