Synopsis:
Can the bad boy of Copper Ridge, Oregon, make good—and win the rodeo girl of his dreams?
Kate Garrett keeps life simple—working hard, riding her beloved horses, playing cards with her brothers. Lately, though, she feels a bit restless, especially when family friend Jack Monaghan is around. Sexy and shameless, Jack is the kind of trouble you don’t tangle with unless you want your heart broken. Still, Kate could always use his help in learning how to lasso someone a little less high-risk…
Jack can’t pinpoint the moment the Garrett brothers’ little sister suddenly stopped seeming so…little. Now here he is, giving flirting tips to the one woman who needs zero help turning him on. Love’s a game he’s never wanted to play. But he’ll have to hurry up and learn how before the best thing that ever entered his life rides right back out again…

Ideal Date in Copper Ridge
I think my ideal date in Copper Ridge would start with a morning hike up to one of the waterfalls. Then, after that I would be ravenous and would require a muffin and a coffee at The Grind, the coffee shop that Cassie owns on the main street in town.
Then my date and I (I’m assuming it’s my husband…unless it can be Dierks Bentley?) would stroll down main street for a while, going into all the little shops and picking up quirky knick knacks.
From there, I would be very hungry (again, I require constant care in that department) and I would want to go to Ace’s for a burger and some fries. Ace’s bar is a great place to people watch and absorb some of the town flavor.
After that we would go to some of the local vineyards and do a little wine tasting (or, in my case, soak in the ambience since I don’t drink wine. But I do appreciate a nice vineyard!).
Then we’d go to the West Estate, just out of town, for some horse riding lessons. From there we’d have a great view of the mountains, and the ocean.
By then it would be time for dinner, and I think we’d head to Beaches for some Fish, Chips and Coleslaw which is what I have to get every time I’m on the coast.
We would round that out with a romantic walk on the beach and, of course, a kiss. (So, it’s definitely my husband and not Dierks. )
Now I’m wishing I could go on a real date in Copper Ridge. I definitely think I could find a way to waste a whole day there!
