Hadley St. Clair's life changed the day she came home to a front door covered in slips of paper, each of them revealing the ugly truth about her father. Now as her family falls apart in the wake of his year-long affair, Hadley wants everyone-her dad most of all-to leave her alone.

Then she meets Sam Bennett, a cute new boy who inexplicably "feels like home" to Hadley. Hadley and Sam's connection is undeniable, but Sam has a secret about his family that could ruin everything.

Funny and passionate, Suffer Love is a story about first love, family dysfunction, and the fickle hand of fate.

This book! This freaking book is so awesome! I am so in love with this right now. I'm kind of in a reading slump (but not that much) and this book was so beautiful, it helped me escape the dreaded reading slump before it really sink in.

Anyway, can we talk about how this book was so awesome? The story line, characters, pacing, and plot twist (oh the plot twist in this one!) was genuinely great, I wouldn't dream of changing any of the elements in this book. It's not perfect, not really, this book was rather full of imperfections but that's what made this book more alluring. The realisticity (is that a word?) of the story.

From the very start, I was so hooked with the writing style. It's so easy to follow and it made me want to read more, to continue on reading this book. I got to say, I was so absorbed with the story, I literally flew through the whole thing. This book was the kind of book that I would pile in the can't-put-down-I-need-to-finish book shelf. That's like a warning: you finish this book or die of curiosity.

Overall, can we just say that this book was really great? I was actually speechless, for quite some time, after I finished reading this book. This is so my kind of book.
I highly recommend this to people who love contemporary mixed with romance and a big real world plastered all over it (or I highly recommend this to anyone, really).
