I can't continue to kill myself in order to save you.

This is one hell of a book. I'm not sure if I'm giving justice to this when I say that this is fucking awesome. This book touched different sensitive topics that authors rarely do. I commend Katie McGarry with that.

I'll be honest and say that I didn't continue in reading Katie's other series (Pushing the Limits), it just doesn't suit me. With that off the table, I'll love to say that I'm now in love with this series, this seems to call onto me. The plot, characters, pacing, romance and everything happening in the book just seems to fit together perfectly. This book has that melancholic and "broken" vibe going on, in a good way.

Razor and Breanna were a force to be reckoned with. Although they're like at the different ends of the spectrum, they seem to fit really well together. Razor (I love to call him by his real name, Thomas), was like a broken angel. Most are scared of him but what they didn't know was that deep inside, he's also scared and he only wants answers from a mystery that has haunted him since he was ten. Breanna was smart, responsible, quiet but deep inside she's screaming. This two characters were well developed. They're the kind of characters that really grows on you as you continue to read. Together, I can't help but squeal with their chemistry. They're like puzzles that fit together perfectly.

Overall, this was a great book. From the very start I was hooked. I can't put this book down (I devoured this bad boy in less than a day). I like how this book touched topics such as dealing with suicide, with the expectations of parents, the unconditional love of parents to their child.

Although this book is a part of a series, you don't need to read the first one to understand what's going on with this book. But I highly recommend that you check out the first book first. I like the this book better than the first one, though.

Did I like the ending? Yes. I find it hilarious, really.

Is it a page turner? Yes.

Will I re-read it again? Of course.
